Saturday October 14th

Around noon we gather at the field of the Stichtsche, the trip is about to begin! We leave in our tour bus to IJmuiden. Here we embark and prepare for a night on international waters on the way to Newcastle. We dine together on the ship and sleep in cabins in pairs. There is plenty to do on the ship and the beamer & laptop are also coming along, with a Ziggo subscription & wifi "on board" we don't have to miss a Rugby World Cup match for the "die hard" Rugby fans.

Sunday October 15th

After a good and hearty "English breakfast" we disembark in Newcastle. From the harbor we drive to our hostel. Our hostel is located in the center of Newcastle. We freshen up and get ready for our first "fix-up" against the Newcastle Rugby team. The bus takes us to the rugby club. After an exciting match we eat together at the club and watch a Rugby World Cup match on a big screen. Afterwards we drive back to our hostel tired but satisfied. For those who still have energy, we go out in Newcastle.

Monday October 16 After a good night's rest and ditto breakfast we gather for a fun activity with not an oval, but a round ball. We are all going to play Bubble football! Followed by a lunch in an English Pub, with the bellies well filled and after a short city walk we go back to the harbor for the crossing to the low countries.....

Tuesday October 17

We arrive in IJmuiden and the end of our first UK trip is in sight, we expect to arrive back in De Bilt around noon. Costs (note in £) & payment For 25-30 people £ 370 pp. For 30-35 people £ 365 pp. What is included? all transport (bus and boat), all meals (3x breakfast, lunch & dinner incl. tap water) & all activities.
